Jed has been in the insurance industry since 2011 and founded Caliber Select Insurance in 2016 to provide his clients with an independent solution for their insurance needs. He has a passion for people and enjoys working closely with each client.

Throughout his career, Jed has been honored for his leadership skills and sales accomplishments. He has earned those awards through hard work, dependability, and the willingness to listen to each client. Jed’s ability to explain complex situations in a familiar way make him uniquely suited for his profession.

Jed enjoys spending time at home and on the soccer fields with his wife Abi and four kids, Hannah, Jace, Carter, and Ty.

Chandler has been in the insurance industry since 2011. He enjoys helping clients and educating them to be better prepared and protected. Placing the needs of the individual, family, or business first. He sets himself apart in going above and beyond, to provide excellent customer service. From the process of signing up, renewals, claims, or any other help needed, Chandler makes himself available to help make sure you are getting the best deal available and helping answer questions and be there in time of need.

Chandler’s goals include striving to have each client a satisfied customer for life. Building a relationship for years to come with all of one’s insurance needs. His high standards and values reflect in taking care of those he works with and being transparent, so one knows they are being taken care of.

Chandler graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Information Systems and an ephasis in Business Inteligence, which he still applies to his work. He has a great passion for sports and enjoys spending time with his wife Shelby and their two boys Covey and Owen.

Lindsay is enthusiastic about gaining meaningful relationships with clients, providing a positive customer service experience, and administering quick and quality service. Lindsay loves learning and enjoys helping make the sometimes daunting topic of insurance understandable and accessible to clients. Lindsay appreciates the trust clients enjoy with Caliber Select and is passionate about creating that same trust.

Lindsay graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Utah University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, watching sports, and going to her cabin in the mountains.

Dylan is a very positive and friendly person. She is a hardworking and energetic individual who always seeks to make the best out of any situation, build long-lasting relationships, and provide the best experiences possible with others. She’s excited to work with and continue the trust with the clients of Caliber Select Insurance. She is a high achiever who is very dependable and always goes above and beyond for others. Dylan also has a background in industrial technology and is always excited to learn more about the ins and outs of insurance, not only for herself but for the clients she works with as well.

Outside of work, Dylan is a very ambitious and adventurous person, who has had many athletic and academic accomplishments. She continues to participate in soccer where she was an all-region, four-year varsity player at Timpanogos High School, and now plays in Semi-Professional leagues. When she’s not on the field, she enjoys spending time with her husband Mason, and dog Boo.

LaBretta is energetic and motivated to help clients with their insurance needs. She goes above and beyond by creating personal relationships with customers. Insurance interested LaBretta and she worked for other companies for the past year. She is excited to apply her knowledge and strengths that she has already learned, to help service clients with Caliber, and continue to grow and learn.

She grew up in the great state of Washington. She moved to Utah to look for a new change when she met her husband Cory during a game night. Together they have two beautiful kids.

Outside of work, she enjoys being home with her family, watching Disney movies, playing Mario Kart, and reading. She also enjoys the summer days where she can be outside enjoying the warmth and sunshine.

Kelsey has a passion for serving and connecting with others. She is highly organized, attentive to detail, provides clear communication, and has a focused growth mindset. Kelsey loves to learn new things and share her knowledge as she supports clients’ needs.

Kelsey graduated from Utah Valley University where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and a professional teaching license in Dance Education. As an educator, she developed many attributes that serve her in all areas of life, as she managed learning and communication for diverse needs and personalities. Kelsey led her teaching team to heights they did not know were possible. She is loyal to those she works with and enjoys developing a relationship with all she meets. Kelsey loves to spend time with her husband and family, traveling, and being active; including regularly participating in dance and fitness classes.

Mickey is the most recent hire at Caliber Select. He is an incredibly dedicated problem solver and will tackle any issue thrown his way. Despite being new to the business, he is allocating all of his time and resources to become a reliable representative for all of our customers. He has had years of experience working as a customer service representative and finds that communication is one of his strong suits. Mickey is currently working on his Master’s degree in finance and accounting, which he plans to apply to this career.

He recently moved to Utah from the great state of Texas, where he loved to play baseball, watch the Texas Rangers, and spend time outdoors. He moved away looking for a new experience but mostly to escape the heat.

Hudson has always been a highly motivated individual, who wants to succeed in all he does. He is a swift learner and is willing to put in the time to learn all facets of the insurance business. He is great at providing help and will go above and beyond to find the answers that Caliber Select Insurance clients have. He is a team player and willing to do what is best for the team. He is excited to assist clients with all their insurance needs.

Hudson graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Business Management. Outside of the office, Hudson enjoys watching and playing soccer, along with most other sports, where he is a huge fan of Borussia Dortmund, USC, the Utah Jazz, and the LA Rams. He loves traveling and spending time with his wife and family.

CJ has built a career on helping people. He started out at age 12 as a lot attendant for a local boat dealership where he loved greeting and meeting the customers as they dropped off their boats. It was at that time CJ knew he needed to work with people, and he has ever since. CJ thrives on client success and exceeding expectations. He believes in being accountable for what you say and do.

CJ spent 9 years in the mortgage industry before transitioning to an independent insurance agent in 2012. He enjoys helping clients with their long-term planning and setting financial goals. CJ believes his success is due to his wife Brittany and 6 kids who constantly remind him how great he can be.

Erika has been at Caliber Select since 2016. As a small business owner, homeowner and parent of three teen drivers and two dogs, she understands the importance of having the right insurance.

She is fully licensed and can provide auto, home, commercial/business, health and life coverage for her clients. She enjoys learning about her client’s families and lifestyles to help match them with the best coverage.

On the personal side, Erika is an accomplished athlete, voracious adventure seeker and traveler. She completed the Ironman Florida, the World Championship Ironman 70.3, Leadville Trail 100 mountain bike race, as well as countless other endurance events, all starting from her days of running cross country at Mountain View in Orem. Among her favorite bucket-list activities was running rim-to-rim-to-rim at the Grand Canyon, cycling to the highest paved road in the US on Mount Evans in CO, and swimming across Utah Lake. She recently visited Tokyo with her daughter and Barcelona with her son.

Erika is the resident party planner at Caliber Select, and her monthly client newsletters are a favorite among her clients.

Chris loves being in the business of working with people. It gives him great satisfaction to help someone solve a problem and improve their situation. It all started after graduating from BYU in manufacturing engineering technology. He has since gained 11 years professional experience in engineering, business management and real estate investing.

In all his pursuits, he has come to realize that there are certain traits that really matter – dependability, honesty, loyalty and diligence. He prides himself on maintaining these principles in his insurance business. He will take the time to find the best deal for the customer and is always anxious to impress. He is honest in his communication with all parties. He is loyal to the customers that put their trust in him, and he will work diligently to keep them happy.

When not on the job, you’ll find Chris in the mountains running, skiing, mountain biking, or climbing the next peak on the list. He also loves to fix things around the house and hanging out with his family. Adventure is his great love next to his wonderful wife, three amazing boys, and “princess” daughter.

Nick has been in the insurance industry since 2012. He spent five years as an agency owner for American Family Insurance before leaving to become an independent agent for Caliber Select Insurance in 2017. Nick understands the importance of having the right insurance that fits the client’s needs. He enjoys working with his clients to ensure that their loved ones and those things that matter most are protected.

In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors hiking and mountain biking, and loves spending time with his wife Kristin and their little girl Evelyn.

Lincoln joined Caliber Select in 2018. He graduated from Brigham Young University and began his career in the SAAS industry. After a few years, and looking for a more fulfilling career path, he decided to transition into insurance, aspiring to develop long-lasting relationships and provide value to people in their personal lives. He loves the personal connections that being an insurance broker affords. He enjoys the challenge of simplifying the complexities of insurance and making the process as smooth as possible for his clients.

Outside of work, Lincoln loves going on adventures with his wife, Chelsea, and his two sons Henry and Myer, Henry. He and Henry are both Type 1 diabetics, so there are a lot of shots given at the Selk household. Outside of work and family, Lincoln loves all things basketball, including playing, watching, and reading.

Dex is a motivated agent, eager to take care of clients with their insurance needs. He comes from a background in Banking and Customer Service. Dex really enjoys learning and is excited to educate those he comes in contact with.

Dex recently graduated from Utah Valley University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management while minoring in Marketing. He enjoys the outdoors while participating in activities such as skiing, dirt-biking, boating, and playing sports.

Jason is a seasoned professional originally hailing from the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area. His career allowed his family across the country until they found themselves in the picturesque landscapes of Utah in 2015. It was here that Jason truly thrived in the ever-evolving world of mortgage lending.

Drawing from two decades of experience in the real estate and housing market, Jason brings a unique and insightful perspective to the realm of property and casualty coverage. Beyond being an insurance expert, Jason is a family man. When he’s not immersed in the intricacies of insurance, you’ll find him alongside his wife, three children, and their lovable mountain doodle.
